On a random, unplanned trip to the thriftstore yesterday I found this magnificent Gap slouchy sweater for 4 dollars! Also found a sparkly little black dress that needs some tending to, including some shortening and removal of shoulder pads. Can't wait to wear it once it is all fixed up.
Off to bake homemade cookies at my grandma's with my sister today. She used to always bake a big batch every Christmas but hasn't done so in a while. This year she is bringing them back and I can't wait to learn how to make them so that I can pass on the tradition.
It is little moments like these that I want to cherish.
