No Heat Curl...Update

So I have been attempting the new "No Heat Curl" trend that has been making its way around the internet recently (if you haven't seen it yet you can check it out here). At first I was skeptical because I have very very straight, flat hair. It usually looks like this

But, to my surprise and delight it actually worked!

And the best thing is you use no heat so it is so much better for your hair. Because my hair is pretty flat, it requires a good amount of product in it and hairspray and if it is humid it really holds no chance of staying the whole day. That being said, I think it looks so much more natural than using a curling iron or braiding your hair. I admit, you look a little crazy going to bed and while the lady in the video mentions that she sometimes goes out in public with her hair wrapped in the band, I would never be caught dead out in public with it wrapped up. That being said, it looks pretty awesome in the morning.

Hope you lovelies are able to make this work for you too!

I watched that whole video, but I like Katie's version of it better.

=] Looks easier and less time consuming. I haven't tried either one though, but I want to!

  3. thanks so much ladies!
I agree, she looks adorable with her hair up but it seems she has had more practice because when I do my hair up, it is definitely not suitable to be going out in public! haha
