I SAT ON A RUG, BIDING MY TIME, DRINKING HER WINE
There are so many things to be unsure of in life.
so many things to confuse and sidetrack.
all I know is that life is too short.
So one must love those around them while they can.
I tried to run from his shadow.
but it found me.
i tried to fight it, but it fought my anger with love.
it embraced me.
I won't fight it anymore.
when things just feel so right, why try and change them.
Going to be embracing these next two weeks... dreading when they will come to an end.
I guess I'll deal with that when it comes
for it is all worth it.
all I know is that all of the anger and frustration have left my heart.
all I know is that lying next to him makes everything okay.
and that's all I can go by right now.

22 Years on This Earth
The romper is making its comeback!

I feel so blessed to have been able to live and love for the past 22 years. Every day is a wonderful day. Every day you wake up is a whole new day full of undiscovered potential. Every day is a birthday. Every breathe is a gift. Thank you to everyone who has come into my life. Although today I feel no older than any other day I wake up, I greatly appreciate my life and all of the wonderful experiences I have lived. I'll leave you guys with some pictures from when I was a child, a time when all things were shiny and new.

Blind Willie McTell-Stateboro Blues
There is something so great listening to classical music while driving in the rain, surrounded by spring greenery. Everything is in full bloom now and I am in love with all of the different shades of green.
So glad it is the weekend. Love lazy rainy weekends. Went out last night, saw an awesome band called Chappo in Northside last night. Woke up this morning and went to yoga at Taza coffee shop. Heading to the lovely Victoria's later. Spending the night. Flying Pig in the morning, cheering everyone one. Birthday dinner with the family at my favorite Mexican restaurant. Overall very good weekend.
Just enjoying the simplicities in life. I find myself constantly smiling for no particular reason recently. I think it is just me really embracing the idea of living in the present and enjoying what the world has to offer us.
I'll leave you all with some more Blind Willie McTell to enjoy. His music goes perfectly with the current weather. <3
